...empowering leaders to be the hands and feet of Christ
A Note From the Chairman...
Chrysalis - a moth or butterfly at the stage of growth when it is turning into an adult and is enclosed in a hard case.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
These two statements define the Chrysalis three day weekend which gives Christians an opportunity to renew their spirit and gives them a short crash course in various Christian teachings. It is meant as a way to see Jesus Christ in a new and exciting way through other Christians with the realization that God has poured his grace and love all over you.
Chrysalis is wrapped in prayer and begins with an invitation from a sponsor. After praying about it, should you want to participate an application is completed. Applications are then considered after much prayer by the Chrysalis board, and the person is asked to attend a weekend. The weekend is ecumenical and meant to build up Christians for service and action in their homes, churches, communities and places of work. After the weekend, individuals are encouraged and supported through small groups to continue to build up and share what they have learned with others from this life changing weekend.
It is my hope and desire to encourage your interest in Chrysalis and make you a part of the Chrysalis community. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me through the address listed on this site.
Sincerely, Rhonda Hoffman
"So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image." -2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT
